Description du contenu de l'enseignement

This course introduces anthropological debates on “relationism” (referring to methodological and theoretical issues). It focuses on anthropological perspectives developed by Philippe Descola, Eduardo Viveiros de Castro and Wang Mingming. The aim of these lectures is not only to present and analyse their theories and concepts, but also to develop a critical reading of their works by referring to the philosophical, historical and cultural background of the notions they use.
