Description du contenu de l'enseignement

The purpose of this course is to give fundamentals of potential field theory applied to geophysical prospecting, with a particular focus on gravity field and an introduction to magnetic field.
  • Potential field theory
  • Geophysical anomalies, field measurements, studies scales
  • Tools for forward and inverse problems in potential fields interpretation - Applications to reservoir studies

Compétences à acquérir

By the end of this course you will be able to:
  • Understand and apply basic concepts and classical processing to gravity and magnetic prospecting data.
  • Interpret these geophysical data in relation with geological informations.
